Diablo 4’s lead class designer has detailed the changes coming to Uber Lilith in the PTR; adjustments will address hitbox issues and more.
The fight against Uber Lilith has long been a pain point for Diablo 4 players. Its wave attack can be particularly devastating, thanks to its capricious hitbox (or damage zone) which makes dodging almost impossible to achieve.
Despite a myriad of video guides and balances, this Diablo 4 boss rarely offers a fair fight. But new details about the game’s next Public Test Realm (PTR) phase indicate that Uber Lilith will be more balanced starting in Season 4.
In a post on his personal Twitter page, Diablo 4’s lead class designer, Adam Jackson, shared some changes players can expect to see from the end-game boss in the RTP.
Speaking of Uber Lilith, on the PTR you’ll be seeing updates to her including:Better visual clarity of her attacksThe hitbox of her waves will better match the visualHer waves/ghosts are no longer 1-shot mecahnics – instead they’ll do heavily ramping damage as you get hit

Uber Lilith attacks will first benefit from “better visual clarity” . Additionally, Blizzard plans to address complaints made against the hitbox of its previously mentioned wave attack. And instead of defeating players in one hit, the boss’s waves/ghosts will deal “damage that scales sharply”as players take hits.
As one person expressed in a post on Reddit, these changes to Diablo 4’s RTP should result in a “fair fight”against Uber Lilith starting in Season 4.
The community won’t know how well these adjustments work until RTP arrives on April 2. The Diablo 4 testing phase will last until April 9 and will only be available to Battle.net users on PC.
