Blizzard confirms Dark Heart and WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria release date

As we eagerly await the release of The War Within expansion later this year and with an abundance of new flavors of the game, there has never been a better time to be a World of Warcraft player. The next exciting updates in this journey are the Dark Heart content update and WoW Remix, both of which have recently been given confirmed release dates.

On the official Blizzard website, the developer announced that the next major content update for Modern WoW, called Dark Heart, will be released on May 7. Additionally, they confirmed that WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will also be joining on May 16.

Formally known as Dark Heart or Patch 10.2.7, this is the ultimate narrative installment of Dragonflight, intended to pave the way for the upcoming release of The War Within later this year. Moreover, Draenei and Troll characters can now embark on new heritage armor questlines, while Kul Tiran’s have access to new hairstyles and all Dragonflight questlines will no longer have renown requirements.

The upcoming WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is a highly anticipated time-limited event that offers players the chance to revisit the fourth expansion and quickly level up from 10 to 70. The gear system has been significantly revamped, promising new and thrilling adventures within the current content.

The mode also introduces Bronze, a new currency that players can utilize to upgrade gear and buy items, including the highly sought-after mounts that were a highlight of the expansion. At the end of the experience, players can transfer their characters to live servers and retain both the mounts and transmogs they acquired during the event.

As of the present moment, there is no confirmed release date for the next expansion. However, the arrival of Cataclysm Classic in August makes September an unlikely option. It is speculated that The War Within will be released in October or November.
