The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards took place at 8:30 p.m. on July 19 in Paradise City, Incheon (KST). The ceremony was aired live on KBS2 and was emceed by Jeon Hyun-moo and Yoona.
Lee Jung-ha was honored with the Best New Actor award at the event. In his acceptance speech, he expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am truly grateful for this wonderful award. I would like to thank director Park In-je, my mother Hyo-joo, father In-sung, my friend Heesoo, class president Do Hoon, writer Kang Pool, the entire cast and crew of “Moving”, my company, and most importantly, my family for always supporting and raising me to be the person I am today.”
“I have been informed that today marks the final event of the show ‘Moving.’ As I am being presented with an award, I would like to take this opportunity to share a few words before the finale. In a playful manner, he mimicked a line from the drama by saying, ‘Oh, Heesoo, please hold me,’ which elicited laughter from the audience.”
Upon receiving the Best New Actress award, Go Youn-jung expressed her gratitude to director Kang Pool, her co-stars, and the film’s staff. She fondly recalled the fun they had while filming, and thanked her family and agency for their support. She also promised to work even harder, viewing the award as motivation to continue giving her best.
