Blue Lock: Chapter 270 – Rin’s Flow State and Isagi’s Attempt to Replicate Sae’s Moves

Upon the release of Blue Lock chapter 270, the manga shifted its focus to Rin Itoshi’s Flow State. He successfully overcame the Bastard Munchen players using his restrictive self-type attack. After observing this, Isagi strategized to counter Rin by emulating Sae’s techniques in the upcoming U-20 match.

In the previous chapter, Isagi came to the realization that he was the focal point of the field. As a result, he became convinced that Kaiser was the only one who could outperform him. Therefore, Isagi strategized to have Kaiser make the first move. However, Rin intercepted the attack and stole the ball from Kurona.

The latest installment of Blue Lock, chapter 270, titled ‘Break,’ began with Rin Itoshi overcoming Raichi Jingo and Kiyora Jin with the help of Nanase Nijiro. As soon as Rin passed them, he encountered Hiori Yo, but the Paris X Gen striker effortlessly surpassed him with a rainbow flick.

After shifting its focus, the manga now followed Yoichi Isagi as he carefully assessed how to counter Rin Itoshi’s tactics. The Paris X Gen striker was executing an unstoppable attack, with neither him nor the ball pausing for even a moment. Observing this, Isagi came to the realization that his position in the field was allowing Rin to anticipate his every move.

Similarly to Michael Kaiser, Rin Itoshi was a player who performed at his best when faced with restrictions. However, unlike the renowned German striker, Rin was not a global player but rather a self-made one. As a result, his entire offensive strategy revolved around utilizing his own set of skills.

Additionally, Rin Itoshi was making steady progress towards reaching his level from the match against the U-20 Japanese National team.

Although there was a significant change, Rin Itoshi was still facing suppression from his elder brother Sae Itoshi. However, this time, none of Rin’s teammates were capable of matching his strength. As a result, Isagi stepped up and took on the role himself.

As Isagi gave Rin a slight push on the shoulder, the manga suddenly shifted to a flashback of Rin and Sae. In a previous instance, Sae had observed that Rin would drool while engrossed in playing with his toys. It was during this moment that Sae had realized that Rin would become too excited and start drooling. Sae had then cautioned Rin against breaking his toys, explaining that unlike humans, they could not be fixed.

Upon receiving this news, Rin felt anxious about the possibility of his parents reprimanding him for his behavior. However, Sae cheered him up by treating him to ice cream. It was during this outing that Sae reassured Rin of his unwavering support for his brother until the end of his days.

Following this, chapter 270 of Blue Lock returned to the match as Rin Itoshi came to the realization that his ego was causing his constructed memories to unravel.
