Blue Lock Chapter 274: Rin Disqualifies Isagi as a Rival as Charles Takes the First Step Towards His Evolution

With the publication of Blue Lock chapter 274, the manga series continued the ongoing match between Bastard Munchen and Paris X Gen. While Yoichi Isagi grappled with understanding Rin Itoshi’s techniques, Charles Chevalier seized an opportunity to set up a cross for Rin and Ryusei Shidou simultaneously.

In the previous chapter, Rin Itoshi successfully bypassed Bastard Munchen’s defense and positioned himself for what appeared to be an effortless goal. However, he anticipated that Sae would deem the goal as mediocre. As a result, Rin initiated a new offensive, aiming to score a goal that not only surpassed lukewarm but also eradicated Sae Itoshi’s presence on the field.

Blue Lock’s 274th chapter, ‘Failure of a Rival’, began with Rin Itoshi resuming his assault. Yoichi Isagi was taken aback by this turn of events, as he found himself unable to anticipate Rin’s actions. Rin had transformed into an utterly unpredictable beast.

Therefore, Isagi was beginning to feel afraid of Rin.

Just as Rin was nearing Yoichi Isagi with his impressive dribbling skills, he issued a challenge for Isagi to showcase his full potential. Rin’s intention was for Isagi to come at him with a fierce determination, as if he were willing to do whatever it takes to win. If Isagi failed to demonstrate this level of intensity, Rin would have no choice but to consider him unworthy of being a rival. As they faced off, Rin swiftly dribbled past Isagi and left him stumbling in his wake.

The news infuriated Isagi, as he firmly believed that he possessed the determination to die, even if it differed from Rin’s resolve. Despite his numerous defeats, he always managed to bounce back and come out stronger. And so, Yoichi Isagi proudly proclaimed himself as a genius of adaptability.

In chapter 274 of Blue Lock, Rin passed the ball to Charles Chevalier and immediately requested that he stop giving him sloppy passes. Rin specifically asked Charles to smash the pass to him, which sparked Charles’ enthusiasm. He eagerly accepted the challenge and prepared to provide a nasty pass to Rin.

As Charles Chevalier dribbled the ball down the right wing, Zantetsu Tsurugi closely marked Kunigami Rensuke. When Charles reached the end of the line, he executed a rabona cross towards the center.

Despite the Bastard Munchen players assuming the pass was intended for Rin Itoshi, Charles had deliberately given her a difficult pass as he had promised. The trajectory of the pass was perfectly placed for both Paris X Gen strikers, Rin Itoshi and Ryusei Shidou, to have a chance at reaching it. Charles had hoped for the two strikers to compete against each other, each fighting to score the vital equalizer goal.
