In Blue Lock chapter 275, Rin Itoshi finally breaks free from the influence of Sae Itoshi’s illusion. Despite facing challenges in defeating this phantom, Rin’s interaction with Yoichi Isagi proved crucial in this journey, enabling him to achieve his ideal goal while colliding with Isagi.
In the previous chapter, Rin had urged Isagi to give his all or risk being disqualified as his rival. Shortly after this challenge, Rin requested a powerful pass from Charles, who delivered a rabona cross that not only supported Rin’s attack but also opened a possible goal-scoring opportunity for Shidou.

Blue Lock chapter 275: Rin’s determination leads to his ideal goal
The chapter begins by explaining Kunigami Rensuke’s role in marking Ryusei Shidou. However, he was immobilized by Zantetsu Tsurugi, which allowed Shidou to confront Rin during the play initiated by Charles Chevalier’s rabona cross.
As Rin Itoshi contemplated his next action, he realized that continuing his shot trajectory would lead to interference by Shidou. To adjust, Rin changed his path and moved diagonally toward the ball. Although it appeared that he was evading Shidou, the height of the ball made his shot attempt more complex.
Rin aimed to score using a bounce shot to set a new personal best. During this moment, he encountered the illusion of his brother, Itoshi Sae, who dismissed Rin’s shot as mediocre. This realization prompted Rin to understand that his hostility toward Sae hindered his creativity.
Seeking a new source of inspiration, Rin found himself facing Yoichi Isagi. By interrupting Rin’s path, Isagi inadvertently provided him with the motivation needed to devise a solution to the newfound challenge.
Instead of executing his original plan with a bounce shot, Rin opted for a scissor kick to connect with the ball. True to his commitment, Yoichi Isagi attempted to block Rin but ended up colliding with him. Nevertheless, Rin achieved perfect contact with the ball, propelling it into the top right corner, eluding both Bastard Munchen and Paris X Gen defenders.
The ball ultimately found its way into the net, successfully bringing Paris X Gen to an equal score against Bastard Munchen. Rin Itoshi had triumphantly scored his ideal goal.
