Blue Lock chapter 276, entitled ‘The Last,’ commenced with the Blue Lock announcer urging the audience to witness the exceptional skill of Blue Lock’s top player, Rin Itoshi. The announcer expressed admiration for Rin’s eccentric style.

Following this, Ryusei Shidou joined the scene, expressing his disdain for Rin and his lower eyelashes. However, he acknowledged the beauty of Rin’s goal, praising it as a work of art. Subsequently, Shidou asked Charles to pass to the player he considered crazier of the two strikers. Charles, on his part, suggested that Rin should stop his nosebleed, or he might be forced out of the game.

The narrative then shifted to Yoichi Isagi, who noticed how Zantetsu Tsurugi’s man-marking of an exhausted Kunigami Rensuke allowed Ryusei Shidou to slip through. This situation disrupted the balance between Rin, Kaiser, and Isagi himself. Upon realizing this, Isagi rushed to stop Rin, though his arrival did not deter him.

In an unusual turn of events, Rin ignored the typical instinct to halt before a collision, executing his crash shot even while colliding with Isagi. After scoring, Rin’s reaction mirrored Isagi’s early feelings in Blue Lock, prompting Isagi to ponder whether he had merely supported Rin Itoshi’s growth throughout their rivalry.

The chapter then cut to Julian Loki, who excitedly approached Rin Itoshi. Having competed against each other in the third selection, Julian acknowledged Rin’s evolution into a formidable striker, noting that Rin’s presence has facilitated Charles’s development as well. Enthusiastically, Julian announced his intention to join the match.

Despite having not participated in any matches until now, Julian was set to make his Neo Egoist League debut. Recognizing Julian’s professional status, Noel Noa decided to take matters into his own hands and subbed himself in for Kunigami Rensuke while instructing Kurona Ranze to make way for Igarashi Gurimu.

As everyone absorbed the implications of the Master Striker’s decision, Noel Noa encouraged Igarashi to seize this fleeting chance to demonstrate his skills in the Neo Egoist League. Consequently, Igarashi Gurimu stepped onto the field alongside Noel Noa.

As the climactic battle prepared to commence, Rin Itoshi expressed his gratitude towards Isagi for being a worthy rival, encouraging Isagi to harbor feelings of animosity and rivalry. Meanwhile, Isagi was determined not to let Rin steal the spotlight, fueling his ambition to score the decisive goal of the match.
