Blue Lock chapter 279 spoilers: Noa acknowledges Loki as his prime adversary
The upcoming chapter, titled ‘Football Junkies,’ continues from the last installment as Michael Kaiser readies to execute his free kick. However, he pauses to question Noel Noa about the truth of his claims—did Noa join the league solely to enhance his capabilities? The thought was indeed unsettling, as to elevate Kaiser, Noa would also need to support Yoichi Isagi.
To everyone’s surprise, Noa confirmed this. In response, Michael Kaiser referred to Noa as a disgraceful coach, expressing disdain for the Master Striker’s questionable methods on the road to becoming the world’s best. In that moment, Noa disclosed that his focus was not on obtaining the title of the top player; he was simply dedicated to living the life of a striker, with any accolades merely being a byproduct of his passion.
At that moment, Julian Loki emerged as Noa’s greatest concern. Thus, Noa urged Kaiser to settle the score with Loki so that he could eventually surpass his own limits. Noa expressed his desire to face off against stronger opponents, leading Kaiser to understand that Noa was indeed passionate about football.
The perspective then shifted to Yoichi Isagi as he readied himself to seize the goal opportunity. He contemplated two potential strategies: the first was to capitalize on the rebound from the free kick, and the second was to adjust the trajectory of the free kick mid-flight based on his read of the situation.
However, to execute either tactic, Isagi needed to predict the path of Kaiser’s free kick, which could either curve to the left or travel straight to the right. Kaiser, determined to escape the influence of Noel Noa, aimed to stay ahead of Isagi as he initiated the free kick.
As Kaiser unleashed his kick in Blue Lock chapter 279, Isagi took off in anticipation. With the ball seemingly heading towards the left corner, Isagi dashed toward that direction. Unfortunately, he miscalculated, as Kaiser had expertly employed the Magnus shot to curve the ball towards the right corner.
Just as Isagi grasped his error, he noticed Julian Loki sprinting towards the ball. Given that Loki had only begun his movement after the kick was taken, it seemed impossible for him to get to it in time. Yet, Isagi was mistaken once more as Loki demonstrated extraordinary speed with his Godspeed, reaching the free kick just in time. Upon stopping the ball, he remarked that Kaiser’s shot was surprisingly slow.
Ultimately, the prowess of the Master Striker’s Godspeed overshadowed all other abilities. According to the spoilers for Blue Lock chapter 279, the next chapter is titled ‘The Prodigy’s Wall.’
