Blue Lock Fans’ Consistent Joke About the Season 2 Poster

Despite Blue Lock’s recent confirmation of Season 2 with a key visual, fans have been unimpressed and continue to mock the poster, making similar jokes about it.

The highly anticipated second season of Blue Lock is set to premiere in October as a part of the Fall 2024 lineup. Eight Bit, the studio behind the sports anime, has officially announced the renewal with a key visual showcasing the main character, Yoichi Isagi, and another important character, Rin Itoshi.

Despite knowing that the second season is set to be released in October, an official release date has not yet been announced. Additionally, the number of episodes for the upcoming season has not been revealed by Eight Bit.

Despite the high anticipation for Blue Lock Season 2 and the eager anticipation of fans, the poster has failed to make a good impression. The image depicts Yoichi and Rin surrounded by two auras of different colors, but the chosen colors are not visually pleasing and do not convey the competitive atmosphere of the upcoming season.

The poster uses varying shades of green to obscure both characters, failing to effectively convey the contrast between them. The use of green is also questionable, considering its portrayal in popular culture.

Despite the fans’ disappointment with the key visual, they are using it as an opportunity to mock it. On X platform, one user joked, “They should have chosen a different color aura, haha, stinky boy.”

Another person made fun of both the poster and the anime by writing, “This poster is evidence that Blue Lock is terrible.”

A third person adds to the joke by asking a single question, “Are you all certain that is an aura?”

The upcoming second season of Blue Lock will resume from where the previous season ended, focusing on the Third Selection Arc of the manga. Following that, it will also cover the subsequent U-20 Arc. While the exact number of episodes for the second season is currently unknown, it remains uncertain if the entire arc will be adapted. More details will be announced in the near future.
