Chapter 265: Kiyora Makes a Borderline Decision in Blue Lock
In the opening of Blue Lock chapter 265, titled ‘Beyond Restriction,’ Alexis Ness took control of the loose ball with the intention of aiding Kaiser in perfecting his Kaiser Impact: Magnus shot. Keeping this goal in mind, Ness made a precise pass to Kaiser.
Despite Kaiser’s efforts, his path to the goal was impeded by Tabito Karasu, Nanase Nijiro, Kunigami Rensuke, and Ryusei Shidou. As a result, he was forced to abandon the pass and let it reach Kiyora Jin. It was a surprise to everyone when Kiyora Jin joined in the attack, causing both Isagi and Kaiser to quickly shift and make themselves open for a pass on the left wing-back.
Knowing that the focus of the Bastard Munchen team had shifted to Yoichi Isagi, he was confident that Kiyora would pass the ball to him. However, Kaiser was certain that he would have to intercept the pass from Isagi. With this in mind, he made a powerful run that allowed him to break through Paris X Gen’s defense, which caused them discomfort. This was the only style of play Kaiser knew before, when he was known as “zero.”
Moments later, as Isagi and Kaiser happened to line up one after the other, Kiyora Jin made a split-second decision and sent a high-speed pass toward them. Although Kaiser was left behind by the ball, Isagi initially believed that Kiyora had chosen him. However, he soon realized that this was far from the truth.
Kiyora Jin had intentionally put a backspin on the ball to make it stop and bounce back. As a result, the ball, which was originally meant for Isagi, ended up in the possession of Kaiser. By doing this, Kiyora had cleverly tricked Isagi into drawing the Paris X Gen players towards him, creating an opportunity for Kaiser to receive the ball while being relatively unguarded.
Despite not realizing it, Michael Kaiser charged towards the ball in an attempt to steal it, only to be met by Rin Itoshi and Charles Chevalier. This put Kaiser in a difficult situation as he still wanted to dribble the ball.
Right then, Kaiser had an epiphany that Kiyora’s pass had caused the ball to come to a stop. This was the ideal opportunity for him to use his signature move, Kaiser Impact: Magnus. Excitedly, Kaiser executed the move, hoping to secure his first goal against Paris X Gen. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait for the next chapter to see what happens next.
