The anime series revolves around Hitori Gotou, a skilled guitarist whose online persona, the guitar hero, is renowned for her exceptional guitar-playing abilities. Despite her widespread fame, Hitori is actually an introvert who struggles with social interactions among peers.

This was the reason behind her decision to develop an online persona to display her talents instead of becoming a member of a band. While sitting in a park with her guitar one day, Hitori was approached by Nijika Ijichi, the drummer of a band called Kessoku Band.

Nijika’s band was suddenly without a guitarist when their previous member left without notice. Desperate to find a replacement, Nijika turned to Hitori who was forcibly recruited as a temporary guitarist for the Kessoku Band. Despite having no time to practice, Hitori had to perform in front of a large audience. The series delves into the journey of this gifted guitarist, whose only salvation may lie in her guitar.
