Boruto fans think they’ve figured out who’s in the Two Blue Vortex

The title of the Boruto sequel manga has sparked numerous speculations, but fans have finally deduced the identities of the ‘Two Blue Vortex’ mentioned in the title.

The plot of Boruto Two Blue Vortex centers around the titular character and his comrades, taking place three years after the events of Part 1. In contrast to the first part of the manga, which primarily centered on Boruto, his peers, and the new character Kawaki, the sequel allows the youngest Uzumaki to finally take center stage.

In the current arc of Boruto Two Blue Vortex, Himawari is finally receiving recognition for her important role. When Jura and Hidari, the incarnated forms of the God Tree, come to Konoha in search of Naruto, they unexpectedly encounter Himawari, who becomes the vessel for Kurama’s revival.

The reappearance of Kurama is a shocking twist for both the characters and the audience, as it contradicts the series’ most memorable moment. Nevertheless, the tailed beast clarifies that Himawari may not have been born with Kurama’s chakra, but as a descendant of both the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans, it is her fate.

Himawari’s brother, Boruto, has also been told something very similar. Like Himawari, Boruto is also a host for an otherworldly entity, specifically Momoshiki Otsutsuki. In the first part of Boruto, Momoshiki reveals to Boruto that he can perceive Boruto’s destiny through his Byakugan.

Both siblings, Boruto and Himawari, are heirs of the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans and have become hosts to two incredibly powerful entities. Based on the revelations of Kurama and Momoshiki, it seems that their fates have also been predetermined. This has led fans to believe that Boruto and Himawari may be the legendary ‘Two Blue Vortex’.

This will not be the first instance where fate will greatly influence the story. The unbreakable bond between Naruto and Sasuke was also predestined as the most recent reincarnations of Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki.

Just as Naruto and Sasuke were key characters in Naruto, fans believe that the Uzumaki siblings will also hold a central role in Boruto Two Blue Vortex, earning them the title of titular vortexes.

The presence of a spiral and the word ‘rasen’, meaning ‘spiral’, on the manga cover featuring Himawari, further suggests that she is the other vortex referred to in the title.

Referring to this, a fan on X stated, “I wouldn’t be shocked if Himawari ends up being the second blue whirlpool, since blue represents her and Boruto’s eyes and whirlpool represents Uzu.”

Another person chimed in, stating, “If this is indeed true, it’s evident that Momoshiki may be implying he is willing to sacrifice everything for those blue eyes. It’s highly likely that not only Jura, but also Momoshiki, will see Hima as a target. This could be a way for Boruto to experience even more suffering.”

A third person made a comment, stating, “The two Blue Vortex are Boruto and Himawari.”

It is uncertain if Himawari is truly the “other blue vortex,”but it is clear that she will have a significant role in the story going forward. In Chapter 10 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex, she has already demonstrated her increased strength by harnessing Kurama’s power, setting the stage for an intense battle in the upcoming chapter.
