According to an explanation given by a Reddit user with the handle u/Educational_Role_964, a popular theory among Boruto fans suggests that Momoshiki Otsutsuki may make an appearance in chapter 13 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

In chapter 12, it was shown that God Tree Jura used a Biju Bomb in the form of a laser to attack Boruto. The blast struck him below his chest and passed through his body, causing significant injuries. Although the attack did not hit any vital organs, Boruto collapsed and dropped Hidari’s Thorn Soul Bulb.

Boruto’s words clearly indicated the great value the protagonist placed on the Thorn Soul Bulb. Thus, it is unlikely that he would have dropped it unless he was physically unable to hold onto it.

In the meantime, Jura, having successfully retrieved Hidari’s Thorn Soul Bulb, appeared determined to eliminate Boruto. As a result, the next chapter may feature the God Tree pursuing Boruto.

This surprising turn of events could lead to Kawaki defending Boruto. Despite his initial desire to kill his adoptive brother, the circumstances have prompted him to consider saving him in order to gain information and potentially team up with him in future battles against the God Trees. However, as fans are aware, Kawaki is rendered helpless without his karma powers and will most likely have to rely on them once again.

The manga series could potentially see the return of Momoshiki Otsutsuki due to this move. As seen previously, Boruto struggled to control his karma. When Kawaki activated it, Boruto’s karma reacted and began to activate as well. This development frightened Boruto, causing him to quickly retreat.

However, with Boruto’s severe injuries, he was unable to prevent the karma from activating and therefore risked losing control of his body to Momoshiki Otsutsuki once more.

This advancement could potentially result in the resurgence of the notorious “Borushiki.”Considering Momoshiki’s past actions while in charge, it is possible that fans may witness someone being seriously injured or even killed.

From the protagonist’s perspective, this development is likely to be terrible. Nevertheless, it will provide fans with the opportunity to witness the full extent of his powers, something they have eagerly anticipated.
