Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10 – Kawaki and Delta’s Pursuit of Himawari
In chapter 10 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Team 10 brought Himawari with them to the southwest in order to minimize the number of casualties. Meanwhile, Konohamaru and other Shinobi arrived at the location of the God Trees around the same time.
Despite being unaware of Team 10’s movements, Shikamaru Nara took the time to explain them to everyone. It was during this conversation that Kawaki became aware of Himawari’s danger as well. As a result, both he and Delta quickly made their way towards her location. Meanwhile, Boruto was seen panting in a different area, fearing the possibility of accidentally unleashing Momoshiki Otsutsuki once again.
Shortly after, Jura observed as Team 10 and Himawari were pursued. The Shinobi were also eager to join the chase, but their path was blocked by God Tree Hidari, who was determined to engage in battle with them. Meanwhile, Sarada Uchiha and Sumire Kakei arrived at the same location as Konohamaru and Hidari. As soon as Hidari recognized Sarada as his target, he swiftly teleported behind her and unleashed a fierce Chidori attack.
Thankfully, Sarada was able to activate her Sharingan just in time to avoid the Chidori and retaliate with her own. Though she managed to evade Hidari’s attack, Sarada was taken aback to witness the God Tree utilizing the Chidori, a jutsu commonly used by her father Sasuke Uchiha and herself.
In chapter 10 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Himawari encountered the Nine-Tailed Beast within her own mind. Despite her confusion over this unexpected communication with Kurama, the Bijuu revealed to her the truth of his revival. He clarified that even after a tailed beast’s death, their essence remains and eventually aids in their resurrection.
Kurama was aware of the fact that a tailed beast had the ability to revive, but he was uncertain of where they would reappear. Therefore, it came as a surprise to him when he found himself revived within the body of Himawari. He pondered whether it was due to Himawari inheriting his chakra, being the daughter of Naruto and Hinata, or simply fate. Nevertheless, both Kurama and Himawari embraced their fate as a united body and mind.
Shortly after, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10, Himawari awoke to find herself riding on a bird created by Inojin’s jutsu. They were still being pursued by Jura, who had his sights set on them with a mini-tailed beast bomb. Cho-Cho came to their rescue, utilizing her Partial Expansion Jutsu to safely land them all. Jura was amazed by the teamwork of Team 10, but he still had to battle them in order to capture Himawari.
During their time of need, Himawari persistently implored Kurama for assistance. However, Kurama was unable to offer any help as the one with the power to change their situation was Himawari herself. Her chakra and chakra affinity surpassed that of her descendants, but she was held back by her own beliefs. Until Himawari had faith in her own abilities, their prospects remained dim.
When Himawari attacked Jura, he quickly gained control of her and caused her leg to break. He then ensnared her in a Wood-Style Jutsu. Inojin, witnessing this, became furious and retaliated with a tiger summoned from his Super Beast Scroll. However, his attack proved unsuccessful, and he proceeded to head towards the God Tree.
Despite Inojin being instantly knocked down, Jura continued to attack and used another one of his Wood-Style Jutsu to pierce him. This enraged Himawari, who tapped into Kurama’s chakra in a fit of anger. This set the stage for the fight between a powerful Himawari fueled by Kurama’s chakra and Jura.
