The previous chapter of the manga concluded with Boruto rescuing Himawari and teleporting to Hidari’s whereabouts to save Sarada. This was succeeded by the main character severing the God Tree’s arm, thus freeing Sarada from its grasp. These events foreshadowed a future confrontation between Boruto and Hidari in the upcoming chapter of the manga.

It was no surprise that the sneak peek preview also foreshadowed the same event. In the clip, Boruto was shown using his sword to block Hidari’s attack and then using his Wind Release: Breakthrough to repel him. This suggests that Boruto may attempt to defend Sarada, Himawari, and the others from Hidari’s attack.

As viewers may recall, Kawaki and Delta were on their way to the God Tree Jura’s whereabouts in order to rescue Himawari Uzumaki. However, in the previous installment, Boruto managed to save Himawari and brought her to Hidari’s location instead. These events suggest that Jura might now set his sights on Hidari’s location to capture and consume Himawari.

Despite the challenges ahead, Kawaki and Delta may try to intervene in order to prevent the God Tree from approaching Himawari. It is clear that Kawaki is fiercely protective of her, and he may prioritize her safety even if Boruto is present.

In the previous chapter of the manga, Konohamaru Sarutobi witnessed Boruto teleporting to Hidari’s location and saving Sarada from the God Tree. As fans may recall, Boruto’s previous sensei, Konohamaru, was also deceived by Eida’s Omnipotence, leading him to believe that Kawaki was his student and that Boruto was the one responsible for “killing”the seventh Hokage and his wife.

Despite his initial doubts, Konohamaru was beginning to entertain the idea that his memories had indeed been tampered with, as Sarada had been insisting all along. As a result, in the upcoming Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12, Konohamaru may join forces with Boruto to either confront Hidari or protect Himawari and Sarada.
