Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 13 – Setting Up a War in the Hidden Leaf

Since the start of Part 2, the potential return of Boruto to the Hidden Leaf Village has been a major topic in the story. It was recently uncovered that Eida’s all-knowing abilities caused a switch between Kawaki and the main character. Despite this, a few individuals, such as Sarada, Himawari, and Shikamaru, have expressed their opposition to the switch.

Despite their attempts to resist the modified memories, the majority of the Hidden Leaf Village continues to hold the protagonist responsible for Naruto’s supposed “death.”As the story has already indicated, Boruto is the only one capable of standing up against the Shinju. However, with his impending execution following his arrest, there is a possibility that tensions may escalate within the village and lead to a potential war.

From the reintroduction of Code, the story of Two Blue Vortex took off, making it clear that he was no longer the main danger to the Hidden Leaf Village. Subsequent chapters delved into the village’s state after Eida’s jutsu was activated, uncovering that although most people’s recollections were manipulated, those closest to the main character still had lingering suspicions.

The protagonist’s doubts only grew stronger when they were the only one who could save the Hidden Leaf Village from Code’s attack. Subsequent chapters further explored the villagers’ uncertainty, ultimately dividing Konoha between those who supported Kawaki and those who supported Boruto.

The prevailing belief is that Boruto is currently the sole individual responsible for shaping the future of the world. According to Kashin Koji, should the protagonist perish, the Divine Tree would consume Kawaki, ultimately resulting in the world’s destruction. As Boruto is presently the only one with the ability to confront the Shinju on a relatively even playing field, it is imperative for him to remain alive.

In the previous chapters of Part 2, the village elders disclosed that the protagonist would face execution if captured. As Shikamaru is the current Hokage and somewhat sympathetic towards the protagonist, there is a chance that he could delay the execution.

This would validate Kawaki’s doubts about Shikamaru and could lead to a conflict within the village over Boruto. Although the protagonist’s safety is assured because of his position, it is uncertain what choices Kishimoto and Ikemoto will make to ensure his survival.

The fourteenth installment of Two Blue Vortex Chapter, set to be released on September 20, 2024, will be accessible for reading on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus platform. In the previous chapter, number 13, numerous revelations were made, such as Kashin Koji’s direct involvement in the story and hints at a potential new member of the Shinju.

There is a strong resemblance between the new member and Naruto, leading some to speculate that they could be related. However, Naruto is still alive in Daikokuten and there have been no indications of his demise in the story. If Naruto were to reappear as a Shinju, it would add to the intrigue surrounding their origins and creation.
