Boruto: Two Blue Vortex confirms Himawari’s Potential

The release of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 brought several new developments to fans of the manga. Among these, one that stood out the most was Himawari’s sudden activation of the Kurama chakra. While this was already surprising, the manga had an even more shocking development in store for readers.

The confirmation in the Two Blue Vortex manga that Himawari had greater potential than her father, Naruto, surprised fans who had high expectations for her character. It was even more unexpected when she inherited the nine-tailed beast from her father, Naruto Uzumaki, especially considering Kurama’s demise in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga.

Nevertheless, it is clear that Himawari not only inherited the tailed beast, but has also shown to possess the greatest potential.

In chapter 10 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Himawari and Kurama both come to terms with their new circumstances. However, when they are suddenly attacked by God Tree Jura, Himawari turns to Kurama for help as she is still unsure of how to harness his chakra.

When Kurama snapped at her, it was true that Himawari did not know how to use the tailed beast’s chakra. However, this did not give her the right to command him to help her. In their situation, only Himawari had the power to take action. Therefore, whether she chose to use or suppress the shared chakra would ultimately depend on her next decision.

According to Kurama, Himawari Uzumaki possessed a strong affinity for his chakra, surpassing even her father, Naruto Uzumaki, and all of her predecessors. This was significant because Kurama was the primary source of external chakra for Naruto, making Himawari’s potential as a Jinchuriki even greater than her father’s.

Despite the fact that Naruto Uzumaki was able to effortlessly utilize the chakra given to him and was in complete harmony with Kurama, it took the Seventh Hokage many years before he could establish a bond with the tailed beast. In contrast, Himawari and Kurama had a strong connection right from the beginning, unlike Naruto’s situation.

This, combined with Kurama’s statement that Himawari possesses the strongest bond with him, serves as evidence of Naruto’s daughter’s exceptional potential. As is commonly known, the most effective way to acquire skills or habits is by starting at a young age.

Hence, even as a child, Himawari’s ability to control and use Kurama’s chakra should assist her in surpassing her father in terms of utilizing Kurama’s power.

This could also indicate that Himawari may eventually learn to use the Kurama chakra mode. However, this progression could be a gradual one, as Himawari lacks the same level of combat experience as her father, Naruto.
