The Jiraiya clone appeared to be utilizing a former hideout of Orochimaru’s, masking its location with genjutsu. The toads accompanying him were actually advanced ninja technology, not living creatures. He employed the toads to communicate with Boruto, who was initially unsure of the clone’s true identity. It was at this point that Kashin Koji revealed himself to be the one with the karma seal.

Right after, Kashin Koji inquired of Boruto if he had been Boruto “Uzumaki”from the moment of his birth. Despite seeing Boruto as Isshiki’s vessel, he was conscious of the exchange that occurred between Boruto and Kawaki. Therefore, he felt the need to verify this information.

Soon after, Kashin Koji apologized to Boruto for his earlier attack and began to explain his past experiences. Upon completing his mission and accepting his fate, Koji was ready to entrust the rest to Naruto. Suddenly, a new ability emerged within him, known as “Prescience,”which allowed him to see all potential outcomes.

According to Koji, there were multiple potential outcomes in which the Ten Tails would consume Kawaki and ultimately lead to the destruction of the planet. As a result, Koji realized that defeating Isshiki was not enough and he needed to ensure the destruction of the Ten Tails as well. With that in mind, he returned and began to focus on mastering his newfound power.

During the exchange, Boruto inquired about how Koji obtained his newfound ability. Kashin Koji then revealed that Amado Sanzu’s cyborgs were all implanted with remnants of Shibai Otsutsuki, which granted special Shinjutsu abilities to Code, Eida, and Daemon. On the other hand, Boro, Delta, and Kashin Koji himself did not showcase any special abilities until his near-death experience after the battle against Isshiki, where his ability suddenly emerged.

Immediately after, Kashin Koji informed Boruto about the direst potential outcome. According to him, there were numerous potential futures in which the Ten Tails would break free from Code’s grasp and manifest as multiple Divine Tree beings with their own distinct personalities. Among them, Jura posed the greatest threat as he was responsible for Boruto’s demise in numerous potential futures.

Fortunately, Kashin Koji had a plan to expedite Boruto’s training by teaching him all the abilities he would eventually master in different futures. After their discussion, Boruto made it clear to Kashin Koji that he would not agree to any plan that involved killing Kawaki, as his ultimate goal was to bring his brother back to his senses and reunite their family.

In chapter 13 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the story returned to the present as Himawari woke up from her unconscious state and used her healing powers to mend Sarada’s injured arm. The group then discussed their plan to heal Boruto, but they first secured him in handcuffs in order to gather information from him. During this time, Kawaki discovered a toad belonging to Kashin Koji inside Boruto and learned of his involvement. However, he kept this knowledge to himself and destroyed the toad.
