Boruto x Solo Leveling fan-made crossover turns Naruto’s son into the Shadow Monarch

The Two Blue Vortex manga, released recently, has propelled Masashi Kishimoto’s Boruto series to the height of its popularity. The return of the manga has sparked a renewed excitement among fans, reinvigorating interest in the series once more.

In recent news, Chugong’s Solo Leveling series was transformed into an anime series and quickly became a sensation upon its debut. Although a crossover between the two franchises may not happen anytime soon, a dedicated fan took matters into their own hands by creating a stunning redraw of Boruto Uzumaki in one of Sung Jin-Woo’s well-known stances.

A crossover of epic proportions: Boruto meets Solo Leveling in stunning fanart

A user named u/danstercox69 shared a remarkable fanart on the r/Boruto community on Reddit, depicting Boruto Uzumaki in one of Sung Jin-Woo’s iconic poses from Solo Leveling. The fanart was also posted on X, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from fans of both popular franchises.

The fanart depicted Naruto Uzumaki’s son with a more muscular physique, wielding two kunai in preparation for a fight against his enemies. This stance was inspired by Sung Jin-Woo’s iconic battle pose in the Solo Leveling manhwa, where he single-handedly faced off against a massive horde of enemies.

Jin-Woo’s pose of crossing his arms and holding two knives is widely recognized as one of his most iconic illustrations, and it has also been recently featured in the anime adaptation.

Fans of the Boruto franchise were overjoyed to see their main character strike the same iconic pose as Jin-Woo, resulting in a fusion of the two fandoms. The creator was praised for this unexpected crossover, and many were also impressed by the more muscular and defined physique of their beloved character in the fanart.

Furthermore, there were also fans who attempted to draw connections between the two characters. However, it is a challenging task to find commonalities between them as they possess diverging personalities, motivations, and objectives.

Despite this, the one thing they do share is being forgotten by the other characters in their respective worlds at one point in the story.
