The eleventh chapter of Boruto Two Blue Vortex was published on June 21, 2024. In this chapter, the main character arrived just in time to rescue his sister and old friend. This scene brought back memories for fans of the Naruto series, when Minato was unable to save Kushina in time.
The chapter featured Himawari and Sarada attempting to defeat the God Trees with their respective abilities. While Himawari utilized her recently obtained Nine-Tails chakra, she was unable to match their strength. Meanwhile, Sarada was outsmarted by Hidari’s cunning tactics. Despite being the fastest shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village, Minato was unable to arrive in time to save his wife from Tobi as he extracted the Nine-Tails from her. This tragic event not only became one of the biggest incidents in the history of the Hidden Leaf, but it also resulted in the untimely death of Naruto’s parents.

Saving a Loved One: Boruto’s Heroic Deed Outshines Minato’s Failure
The eleventh chapter of Boruto’s “Two Blue Vortex”featured the ongoing battle between Himawari and Jura, which had begun after the InoShikaCho trio was instructed to leave the area. This intense fight included a fierce exchange of Tailed Beast Bombs from both opponents. Tragically, the fight concluded with Himawari’s defeat.
Despite Sarada and the group having Hidari under control and continuously questioning him about his true identity, he became irritated and launched an attack. Despite Konohamaru’s attempt to fight back, Hidari’s superior skills left everyone, including Sarada, in a cornered position.
Boruto suddenly emerged, rescuing Himawari before instantly appearing beside Sarada to save the day. His heroic act of protecting his sister from being used as a source of chakra for the Ten-Tails’ awakening reminded fans of a similar tragic event in the Naruto series.
After Minato became the Fourth Hokage, Kushina gave birth to Naruto. During the delivery, Minato was by her side to control the Nine-Tails Fox. Despite Tobi’s infiltration into the village immediately after Naruto’s birth, he was born without any negative consequences.
Naruto was held hostage and Minato was blackmailed by the perpetrator, threatening to kill him if they did not leave. The Fourth Hokage successfully rescued Naruto, but was forced to flee due to the presence of Paper Bombs attached to him.
Tobi took advantage of this opportunity to release the Nine-Tails from Kushina’s seal, causing it to unleash its fury upon the Hidden Leaf Village. Although Tobi had managed to secure Naruto’s safety, by the time he returned to the village, it had already fallen into chaos and Kushina had suffered fatal injuries.
Despite doing his best, the outcome of the situation led to both him and Kushina dying at the hands of the Nine-Tails. In order to save the village, Minato had to become the jinchuriki of one half of the Nine-Tails and seal the other half inside Naruto. This heroic act saved the village but came at the cost of his family. In contrast, in the latest chapter, Boruto was able to save everyone without any loss of life.
Final Thoughts
Thanks to the support of Kashin Koji and the Sage Frogs, Boruto was able to keep a close eye on every situation in the Hidden Leaf Village. This enabled him to act swiftly and successfully rescue everyone, making it the primary factor in his success.
However, the situation with Minato was unique. Obito’s sudden appearance caught the Fourth Hokage off guard and without any preparations. This is the reason why the Nine-Tails attack remains one of the most significant events in the history of the Hidden Leaf Village.
