The Boruto manga has the entire fanbase eagerly anticipating each new chapter. The recent Two Blue Vortex manga chapters have been action-packed and the story’s pace has noticeably picked up. Before the time-skip, the manga chapters lacked excitement and felt stagnant.
Despite the initial reliance on comedic relief, the events following the time-skip suggest a possible change in tone and atmosphere for the series. As the sequel to the original Naruto manga, there were instances of increased frequency in the use of comedic relief, leading to complaints from fans that the series had taken on a more slice-of-life vibe.
Nonetheless, upon examining the spoilers for chapter 10 of Two Blue Vortex, it appears that this series has the potential to be the next Jujutsu Kaisen. Here’s why we believe this.
Warning: This article contains major spoilers from the Two Blue Vortex manga, including those from chapter 10 which may not have been released at the time of writing. Proceed with caution.
Boruto: The Next Jujutsu Kaisen?
Having read the chapters of the Two Blue Vortex manga, one would undoubtedly notice a significant change in the manga’s overall tone. The characters have become more serious, with very few moments of comedy, and the stakes have never been higher. The situation has become dire as Naruto has been sealed in a different dimension, leaving characters like Himawari Uzumaki to face the Shinju, which are exact copies of the Ten-Tailed Beast.
Jujutsu Kaisen stands out for its willingness to delve into darker subjects. The graphic violence and frequent character deaths are prominent elements of the manga. Although the Boruto manga has not reached this level yet, recent developments in chapter 10, as revealed through spoilers, suggest a potential shift towards a more somber tone.
Although Inojin was a character who was often overlooked in the manga, there is speculation that he may meet his demise in the next chapter. According to spoilers, there was a confrontation between Team 10 and Jura where Jura ended up injuring Himawari. In a fit of rage, Inojin attempted to surprise Jura, but was met with Jura’s powerful Wood Style attack which impaled him. The size of the object and the severity of the injuries suggest that Inojin’s life may be in danger.
If Inojin were to die as the series progresses, he would be the first of many shinobi who could meet the same fate. With powerful beings like Shibai Otsutsuki involved, it is uncertain who the main antagonists will be. As the strength of the villain increases, so do the stakes, making it more likely for shinobi to fall to this unknown enemy.
Gege Akutami, the author of Jujutsu Kaisen manga, is known for not shying away from killing off characters. Kishimoto and Ikemoto may use this chance to delve into a darker path that was not explored in the original series. This is why we are confident that this specific title has the potential to become the next Jujutsu Kaisen, as it also presents a sudden change in the overall tone and ambiance of the manga.
