Boruto’s Quest for Thorn Soul Bulbs in Two Blue Vortex and Their Importance

In Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 12, Uzumaki Boruto and Uchiha Sarada joined forces to defeat God Tree Hidari. Boruto utilized his Uzuhiko Rasengan to weaken Hidari, and Kawaki delivered the final blow to defeat him. As Hidari perished, a strange object known as the Thorn Soul Bulb emerged from within him.

According to Kashin Koji, a clone of Boruto and Jiraiya, the entity known as the Thorn Soul Bulb has the potential to save those who have been transformed into trees. However, the characters did not elaborate on its abilities or role. A recent theory proposes a potential explanation for the purpose of the Thorn Soul Bulb.

There is a theory that the Thorn Soul Bulbs hold the Chakra of the person who served as the origin of each Divine Tree. It is believed that giving these bulbs to the individual transformed into a tree could potentially reverse the transformation and restore their original form. If this is not the case, then the Divine Tree will continue to grow.

It is believed that Hidari will regenerate due to the fact that all individuals were once a part of the Ten Tails. This suggests that the Thorn Soul Bulbs have an innate attraction to the Divine Trees. As a result, as long as a Divine Tree can protect the bulb from being pursued, the Divine Trees will remain immortal.

According to a more speculative theory, when a Thorn Soul Bulb regenerates into a Divine Tree, it undergoes a form of evolution. The memories and experiences from its previous life act as nourishment, causing it to grow into a more advanced form, although not as developed as if it had consumed its intended target.

Despite being shot, it is unlikely that Boruto will resort to using the Flying Raijin technique to escape. His mysterious comings and goings in Konoha have sparked speculation, and it is expected that he will be interrogated for answers. While this incident may not significantly alter the current situation, it could potentially complicate things for Kawaki and potentially push him to extreme measures.
