Boruto’s Rasengan Accomplishment Surpasses Naruto’s Feats

Boruto’s Rasengan Accomplishment Surpasses Naruto’s Feats

Boruto Uzumaki has experienced one of the most remarkable redemptions in anime history with *Boruto: Two Blue Vortex*, showcasing not only new power-ups but also a more formidable presence than ever before. A key highlight of this redemption narrative is his extraordinary Rasengan variant known as Rasengan Uzuhiko. This technique taps into the planet’s chakra, making it incredibly powerful.

When juxtaposed with Naruto’s Rasenshuriken, Boruto’s Rasengan Uzuhiko may indeed surpass it in terms of effectiveness. The Rasenshuriken comes with significant drawbacks, including the risk of jeopardizing the user’s life during its execution. Furthermore, due to Naruto’s reliance on Kurama, he was the sole user of the Rasenshuriken technique. In contrast, while the Rasengan Uzuhiko has its minor limitations, its ability to harness the Earth’s chakra may render it superior.

Throughout the *Naruto Next Generation* series, Boruto encountered his father’s rival, Sasuke Uchiha, who introduced him to the Rasengan technique, an essential part of his heritage. Although Boruto encountered challenges initially, he quickly mastered the jutsu, surpassing the training timeline of his predecessors.

Advancing his skills further, Boruto incorporated Lightning Release chakra into his Rasengan, leading to the creation of a distinct throwable Rasengan that could vanish before impact, thereby enhancing its versatility.

Following the Omnipotence arc, at the request of his daughter, Sasuke guided Boruto outside the village, imparting all his knowledge. This mentorship ultimately culminated in Boruto unlocking yet another variant of the Rasengan—the Rasengan Uzuhiko, potentially his most powerful variant to date.

This technique capitalizes on the Earth’s chakra and integrates it with the user’s energy, resulting in a formidable attack capable of defeating any adversary. Boruto first utilized this powerful technique against Code in *Boruto: Two Blue Vortex*.

Though not fully charged, the Rasengan Uzuhiko proved sufficient to incapacitate the antagonist and single-handedly destroyed Hidari, one of the Shinju, with a single strike, further emphasizing its overwhelming power. This feat highlights Boruto’s exceptional talent, showcasing his ability to wield the Rasengan in such an impactful manner.

Naruto’s Rasenshuriken is renowned as one of the most potent variations of the Rasengan, utilizing Wind Release chakra to amplify the traditional technique into a lethal weapon capable of devastating opponents.

First employed against the Akatsuki member Kakuzu, the Rasenshuriken’s major flaw lies in its danger to the user; the spiraling attack can physically harm the user, as witnessed when Naruto was worn out. Additionally, due to its significant chakra consumption, only Naruto could execute it, thanks to Kurama’s chakra reserves.

In comparison, Rasengan Uzuhiko may be seen as superior since its main drawback is the time required to charge, akin to the Rasenshuriken. However, because it harnesses the Earth’s chakra, it does not necessitate the same extensive chakra reserves as a Tailed Beast.

Moreover, the Rasengan Uzuhiko does not appear to pose a lethal risk to the user, at least to this point in the series. These elements collectively underscore Boruto’s achievement of mastering the Rasengan Uzuhiko—an accomplishment that Naruto could not attain.
