Boruto’s Resemblance to Naruto: Post-Omnipotence Plot Hole or Intentional Connection?

Boruto’s Resemblance to Naruto: Post-Omnipotence Plot Hole or Intentional Connection?

Since the release of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, the main focus of the series has been on deciphering Eida’s Omnipotence ability. This has led Sarada and Sumire to separately approach Shikamaru and Amado, attempting to convince them of the truth. However, their attempts were unsuccessful as nobody believed their account.

Despite the fact that people tended to trust their own memories over any type of evidence, Shikamaru and Amado, both highly intelligent individuals, were able to overcome Omnipotence by uncovering the truth on their own.

Despite this being positive for the main character, it does not clarify the reason why no one could recognize the familial connection between Naruto and Boruto based solely on their physical appearance.

Omnipotence’s Bypass of Ocular Evidence in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Explained

Despite being a Shinjutsu ability, Eida’s Omnipotence allows her to control the memories of every person on the planet to fit her desires. This explains why individuals tend to trust their own recollections over another’s version of events. However, it does not clarify how Omnipotence was able to override visual evidence.

From the manga series, it is clear that the protagonist bears a striking resemblance to the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Logically, this alone should have led the other characters to uncover Kawaki’s deception. However, for unknown reasons, Eida’s Omnipotence not only overrides people’s memories but also their perception and rational thinking.

In the fifth chapter of the manga series, Sarada and Sumire can be seen discussing Amado’s sudden realization of the truth. This came as a shock to Sarada, who had previously attempted to reveal the truth by presenting physical evidence, such as a photograph of the Uzumaki family from the past. However, the other characters remained skeptical of her claims.

Despite the validity of people’s skepticism towards a family photograph as evidence, it does not explain why the true nature of the relationship between the protagonist and Naruto was not recognized based on their appearance.

Through analyzing the karma data of Kawaki, Amado was able to uncover the truth behind his lies. The data clearly showed that the positions of Kawaki and Boruto had been switched, serving as external evidence. While some may argue that Amado reached this conclusion through his memories, it is undeniable that the data itself was of external origin.

Shikamaru also began to doubt the truth when he overheard Amado’s conversation with Sumire. Despite taking the time to analyze the information, he, like the others, relied on external evidence rather than his own memories to uncover the most crucial piece of evidence.

Therefore, it is evident that physical evidence plays a crucial role in uncovering the truth. Keeping this in mind, the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga should provide an explanation for why the truth was not previously recognized by comparing the facial features of Boruto and Naruto. Without this clarification, it is difficult to overlook the inconsistencies surrounding Omnipotence’s plot.
