Breaking News: 22-Year-Old Actress Under Investigation for the Alleged Murder of Her 77-Year-Old Tycoon Husband Just Three Months Post-Wedding

In 2018, the sudden death of Nozaki Sosuke, a wealthy tycoon, was shrouded in intrigue, with initial suspicions of poisoning arising. The investigation plateaued until 2021 when new evidence connected his wife, Sudo Saki, to the crime. This shocking development led to her arrest on murder charges.

Nozaki Sosuke, known for his extravagant lifestyle, amassed considerable wealth through various ventures, including selling scrap metal and other goods. His reputation was tarnished by countless romantic escapades, reportedly involving up to 4,000 women, which earned him the title “Don Juan of Wakayama.” It is estimated he spent around 3 billion yen (approximately $21 million) on his numerous companions.

In 2017, the 77-year-old businessman surprised many when he announced his marriage to Sudo Saki, a model aged 22. The two reportedly met at a high-profile club, sparking an immediate romance. To win her affection, Nozaki showered her with lavish gifts, spending exorbitant amounts to secure her love.

Reports from NHK suggest that Sudo Saki agreed to marry Nozaki only after negotiating a hefty monthly allowance of 1 million yen (about $6,800). Despite public skepticism regarding her intentions, Nozaki firmly believed their union would usher in happiness.

Tragically, this marital bliss was short-lived. Just three months post-wedding, Nozaki was found dead in his home, with an autopsy revealing high levels of stimulants in his system. Curiously, his pet dog had also died just 18 days prior. While authorities hypothesized poisoning, initial investigations lacked sufficient evidence against Sudo Saki, the main suspect.

Progress on the case remained stagnant until 2021, when law enforcement declared a significant breakthrough. It was revealed that Sudo Saki was the sole individual in the house at the time of Nozaki’s demise. Consequently, she was arrested on April 28, 2021.

As the investigation unfolded, it became apparent that tensions had mounted between the newlyweds shortly after their marriage. Sudo Saki’s reluctance to relocate to Nozaki’s rural hometown had led him to pursue divorce proceedings. Fearing a loss of financial security, she allegedly decided to eliminate him to secure her wealth.

On the fateful night of his death, Sudo Saki was believed to have poisoned her husband’s meal with stimulants. Further investigation uncovered alarming searches on her phone, including terms like “how to murder,” “buying stimulants,” and “overdosing on drugs.” During the trial, however, Sudo denied the accusations, asserting that Nozaki had requested her to acquire the substances.

Following three years of legal proceedings, a western Japan court reached a verdict on December 12, acquitting Sudo Saki of murder charges. The judge cautioned against insufficient evidence and suggested that Nozaki might have accidentally overdosed.

This controversial ruling ignited public outrage across Japan, prompting many citizens to call for a thorough reinvestigation of the case and a meticulous reassessment of the evidence to deliver justice for Nozaki Sosuke and accountability for the accused.
