Blue Lock manga goes on a sudden hiatus ahead of chapter 266
The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Blue Lock manga announced on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 that the series will be going on a sudden hiatus for next week.
Despite Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine issue 29 being released on its scheduled date of Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the Blue Lock manga will be put on hold due to an interview with the manga artist, Yusuke Nomura.
Apparently, the magazine’s issue 28, which was published on June 12, was supposed to include the announcement of this information. However, the details about the manga’s next chapter release became uncertain in the magazine.
Therefore, the official X account for Blue Lock manga issued an apology for any inconvenience that may have been caused. More details on the matter will be revealed upon the release of Weekly Shonen Magazine’s issue 29.
Keeping that in consideration, the release of Blue Lock chapter 266 has been postponed by one week and it will now be available on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
What to Expect from Blue Lock Chapter 266?
In Blue Lock chapter 266, we can expect to see the aftermath of Michael Kaiser’s Kaiser Impact: Magnus shot. Despite Rin Itoshi and Charles Chevalier blocking his path, Kaiser had strategically enhanced his shot with the Magnus effect for these types of situations. As a result, it is highly likely that Kaiser will successfully score his first goal against Paris X Gen in Blue Lock chapter 266.
This progress should make Kaiser understand that Kiyora Jin’s pass was intended to stop just before him, allowing him to form a partnership with the left wing-back. Seeing this unfold may shatter Alexis Ness, as he had hoped to be the one to assist Kaiser in perfecting the Kaiser Impact: Magnus shot.
