Breaking News: Diablo 4 Patch Causes Rare Item to Malfunction

Diablo 4 players have recently uncovered a glitch affecting Andariel’s Visage, a gear piece that underwent modifications in the 1.4.3 update released on June 17.

Among the character classes in D4, Andariel’s Visage is a highly coveted piece of gear due to its rarity.

The unique has the ability to activate a poison nova, which inflicts a significant amount of poison damage to nearby enemies over a period of time.

The recently released Diablo 4 update, version 1.4.3, brought about significant changes to the Visage ability. Among them, one notable modification ensures that the poison nova now targets enemies instead of the player. Additionally, the nova’s damage has been increased by an impressive 50 percent.

Despite the update being released only hours ago, players of Diablo 4 quickly discovered a glitch that was impacting Andariel’s Visage.

A few X users stated in the comments of a Diablo 4 update that the damage output of the item remains unchanged. Moreover, it seems that the animations for the poison nova are also not functioning as intended.

According to one individual, the damage buff for Andariel’s does not appear to be functioning properly. They also mentioned that while the novas seem to be animating around the monsters, they are still triggering around the player’s character.

A comment with a similar sentiment stated, “Andariel’s damage is still the same, it must be bugged!”

Moreover, the issue doesn’t seem to be an isolated case, as multiple Reddit users have also brought attention to the bug. In a particular thread, numerous individuals have shared their observations, stating that the promised damage buff for Andariel’s Visage has yet to be implemented.

Another Diablo 4 player also reported the bug with Andariel’s Visage in a post titled “Andariel’s Visage bugged”on the Blizzard Forums.

Players have already begun demanding a hotfix to fix the identified glitch. As of now, the issue has not been acknowledged by Blizzard developers.

The mid-season patch for Season 4 of Diablo 4, version 1.4.3, will be released on August 6, marking the end of the season. Season 5 will commence on the same day, with Blizzard already announcing plans for a PTR prior to its launch.
