On April 19th, actor Lee Jae-wook’s strong yet soft charm was showcased in a pictorial released by lifestyle magazine Singles. The concept of “redefining masculinity”was highlighted as Lee Jae-wook captivated attention with his unique visuals.
During an interview that took place during the photoshoot, Lee Jae-wook shared his thoughts on the ending of “The Impossible Heir” . He explained that when filming, he tends to keep his character and personal life separate. While playing a character who experiences intense emotions, it can be challenging to switch off after the cameras stop rolling. However, he makes an effort to not hold onto his character’s emotions. He also mentioned that his character, Tae-oh, is someone who internalizes his emotions but externally conceals them. He is actively working on breaking this habit.
He revealed his love for acting, stating, “I still experience nerves and anxiety when I arrive on set. I am constantly concerned about accurately portraying the character as the director intended and whether I have good chemistry with my co-stars.”
Despite his reputation as an actor who appears dashing in suits, he modestly remarked, “I believe I have a mature demeanor for my age. I make a conscious effort to speak thoughtfully in my everyday interactions, and those close to me often compliment my level-headedness.”
The actor revealed that before his career took off, he had taken on numerous part-time jobs. During that period, he was always careful with his words as he feared any mistakes could escalate into a chaotic situation. However, with his growing fame, he has learned to naturally speak more cautiously.
Despite his impressive performances in Disney+’s original series “The Impossible Heir” , Lee Jae-wook faced dating rumors with aespa’s Karina in February. The couple, who confirmed their relationship through their agencies, announced their split after publicly dating for 5 weeks.
