Bridgerton Producer Denies Rumors of Deleted Scenes Between Penelope and Colin in Season 3

A producer for Bridgerton Season 3 has refuted claims that there are any deleted scenes featuring Penelope and Colin’s romantic relationship.

Despite being marketed as a seductive and alluring romance, fans were disappointed with the lack of intimate moments between Penelope and Colin in both parts of Season 3, as compared to previous seasons.

There were speculations that Bridgerton Season 3 originally had additional scenes that were ultimately left out of the final version. In response, a petition was launched urging for the release of these deleted scenes.

Despite fan speculation, Bridgerton Season 3 producer Tom Verica confirmed that the rumored scenes will not be appearing in the show anytime soon, as they were never part of the original plan.

Verica took to Instagram to address the false claims, stating, “I’m not sure where all of this originated from, but these allegations are completely untrue.”He also clarified that the alleged scenes being mentioned do not actually exist.

The Instagram post that he shared consisted of photos taken on set, showcasing moments such as Penelope and Colin’s wedding dance and Francesca and her mother’s piano playing.

Despite this, fans continue to feel cheated, with a sense that something was missing between the main couple in the third season.

On X/Twitter, a fan expressed their disappointment with the S3 Bridgerton editors, stating, “Why didn’t this make the official cut? So many amazing scenes lost their full potential because they were hacked away and not shown in their full glory.”

The response is to a video posted by Nicola Coughlan on Instagram showing their characters filming a wedding scene. Coughlan has since denied rumors of deleted scenes, stating that all the Polin content has been shared but there is still behind-the-scenes footage to come.

In addition, the steamy sex scene between Alice and Will Mondrich was planned for Season 3, but it ended up being removed.

According to Martins Imhangbe, in an interview with Digital Spy, there was originally a scene planned for Will and Alice to have sex in various locations, but it was ultimately cut from the script when the kids interrupted.

Fans must accept what has been presented to them and eagerly anticipate the potential return of the couple in Bridgerton Season 4, just as Kate and Anthony did.
