The recent release of the Warzone Season 5 update brought a new Muzzle attachment into the game that has quickly become the go-to choice for players, surpassing even the previously dominant JAK BFB with its impressive buffs.
Every major patch brings a variety of new attachments, but few have had the same level of impact as the Quartermaster Suppressor. Since its introduction in Season 5, it has quickly become the preferred choice for nearly every dominant build in the game.
The reason for this is the remarkable improvement it provides in accuracy, with a 10%, 23%, and 10% reduction in gun kick, horizontal, and vertical recoil control respectively. Although it does slightly affect ADS and sprint-to-fire speed, these downsides are minor compared to other Muzzles.
The advantage of utilizing this is not limited to just one weapon category, as it can provide significant recoil advantages for all meta weapon types except Shotguns and Pistols. This makes it suitable for use with high-quality Assault Rifles, SMGs, LMGs, and Battle Rifles.
In his July 29 video analyzing the top close-range weapons in Season 5, Warzone specialist JGOD specifically emphasized the Quartermaster Suppressor. His coverage ranged from the MCW and BP50 assault rifles to the recently added Static-HV, with one key element remaining consistent in all loadouts: the Muzzle.
The YouTuber commented, “This new suppressor adds a little more chaos to almost everything.”He then referenced the launch of the JAK BFB, stating “The JAK BFB was almost as intense, but I believe it had more disadvantages.”
Previously, the Muzzle slot was largely monopolized by the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor, which enhanced a gun’s range and bullet velocity to aid in long-distance combat. However, following the recent update, this option has been entirely replaced.
If you want to improve your builds in Season 5, regardless of whether you’re using the Kar98k, STG44, or the TAQ Eradicator, simply switch to the Quartermaster Suppressor for a smoother experience.
