BTS Fans Wish for SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan to Die with the Late Moonbin

On August 11, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan shared an advertisement for the alcohol brand CASS on Instagram, accompanied by a cautionary message stating, “Excessive consumption of alcohol can have serious consequences such as stroke, brain damage, and memory loss. It is also important to note that consuming alcohol during pregnancy can lead to birth defects.”

It is mandatory to include this warning in advertisements for alcoholic beverages. In fact, previous content of SEVENTEEN that featured alcohol advertisements also contained a similar warning.

Despite accusations from some fans of BTS on the SNS platform X (formerly Twitter) that Seungkwan mocked Suga’s DUI incident with his warning, a verified fan with over 3,800 followers called for others to leave malicious comments on Seungkwan’s Instagram. The fan even went as far as to suggest that Seungkwan should “follow”his late best friend, former ASTRO Moonbin.

As a result, Seungkwan’s advertisement post became flooded with comments expressing a desire for his demise. These comments even made their way onto his pinned post dedicated to Moonbin.

It is evident that Seungkwan’s post was intended to commemorate the conclusion of the 2024 Olympic Paris, therefore it is purely coincidental that it was published following Suga’s drunk-driving controversy.
