BTS Jimin’s Alleged Lover Breaks Silence on Secret Affair with K-pop Icon Seungri

On May 23, actress Song Da Eun, who gained popularity for her role on ‘Heart Signal’, addressed the ongoing rumors connecting her to Seungri from Big Bang during a live stream. When a netizen asked if she was previously in a relationship with Seungri, she responded directly, stating,

“Nope. I’m not his ex-girlfriend.”

The dating speculations were fueled by the speculation that Song Da Eun was connected to Seungri’s ‘Burning Sun’ scandal in 2019.

Her representatives made it clear that although Song Da Eun and Seungri had been close since their student days, the rumors were misunderstood and caused distress for both of them.

Rumors are sparked by the latest Instagram post from the actress.

Her representatives clarified that Song Da Eun had a short-term job at Seungri’s nightclub Monkey Museum in 2016, which was due to their close relationship. They emphasized in a statement:

“I think he asked her for help because she was close to Seungri. Since then, all Seungri did was invite her to the first anniversary event for Monkey Museum.”

Actress Song Da Eun’s recent Instagram posts have caused speculation among fans that she may be dating BTS member Jimin. This is due to the similarities between her posts and Jimin’s past social media posts, such as shared locations, items such as bracelets, and settings like Jimin’s living room.

Despite both Song Da Eun and HYBE Labels denying any relationship, fans continue to speculate about the possibility. Jimin is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service and is scheduled to be discharged in June 2025. He also released his solo album “FACE”in March 2024. Neither Jimin nor Song Da Eun have addressed the rumors.

At present, there has been no official statement from HYBE Entertainment, the agency of BTS, addressing the dating rumors. The K-pop community is still abuzz with speculation about Song Da Eun’s alleged romantic relationships.
