According to the most recent Billboard chart released on April 16th (local time), Jungkook‘s solo album “GOLDEN” has secured the 182nd spot on the “Billboard 200” . With a consistent presence on this chart for 23 consecutive weeks, “GOLDEN” has officially become the longest-charting solo K-pop album.
For two consecutive weeks, J-Hope‘s special album “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1″remained on the “Billboard 200″chart, maintaining its position at 98th place. It also achieved a high ranking of 3rd on the “World Albums”chart, as well as 7th on both the “Top Album”and “Top Current Albums”charts.
According to a chart preview article released by Billboard, the prominent fourth-generation K-pop group TXT has secured the 3rd spot on the “Billboard 200″this week with their 6th mini album “minisode 3: TOMORROW”which was released on April 1st.
With this accomplishment, TXT joins their company senior BTS as the only two K-pop artists to have 10 albums chart on the “Billboard 200”.
Additionally, BLACKPINK member and solo singer Jennie’s collaboration track “One Of The Girls”, featuring Canadian star singer-songwriter The Weeknd and American actress-singer Lily-Rose Depp for the HBO series “The Idol”, maintained its position on Billboard’s main single chart “Hot 100″at 76th place for a total of 16 weeks. The song climbed nine spots from the previous week, solidifying its dominance on the chart.
Furthermore, in accordance with the previous day’s announcement, ILLIT, the rookie girl group under HYBE’s label Belift Lab, debuted their title track “Magnetic”from their debut album “SUPER REAL ME”at No.91 on the “Hot 100”. This achievement also marks the first time a K-pop debut song has made an appearance on this particular chart.
