According to an article from Tenasia published on June 20th, BTS’s J-hope recently acquired an Afer Hangang penthouse in Seobinggo-dong, Yongsang-gu, Seoul using cash. The penthouse is a two-story building that covers a total area of 273.86㎡.
In 2020, J-Hope acquired the penthouse and finalized the ownership transfer on the 10th of this month. According to experts in the real estate field, the value of an Afer Hangang penthouse is estimated to be around 12 billion won.
In order to establish itself as a premier residential town, Afer Hangang comprises 26 buildings spanning 205.84㎡ to 273.94㎡ across 5 basements and 10 floors above ground. The buildings were masterfully crafted by renowned architect Yoo Hyun-joon, who currently serves as a Professor at Hongi University.
The Afer Hangang is situated adjacent to Yongsan Park in Seoul, offering residents the opportunity to appreciate the scenic views of both Yongsan Park and the Han River from the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, residents will have access to exclusive amenities including limousine transportation, housekeeping services, and use of premium community facilities.
In the past, J-Hope gained attention for his acquisition of two upscale Trimage apartments located in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. He first bought a 32-pyeong unit in 2016, followed by a 62-pyeong unit which he paid for in full with 3.7 billion won. To this day, he remains the owner of both properties.
In April of last year, J-Hope joined the military and is currently working as an assistant in Army Infantry Division 36. His discharge date is set for October 17th. Most recently, J-Hope visited BTS’s Jin on the day of his discharge to offer his congratulations.
Despite being in the midst of his military service, J-Hope continued to accomplish remarkable music achievements, including dominating the US Billboard chart. His special album “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1″was released on March 29th and made its debut on the Billboard 200 chart. The accompanying pop-up event to celebrate the album’s release also garnered immense interest.
