Suga was accused of breaking the Road Traffic Act (Drunk Driving). He showed up at the police station 17 days after the incident and will be examined for further information regarding the incident.
While standing on the photo line, Suga humbly bowed his head at a 90 degree angle and sincerely apologized for the disappointment he caused to fans and the public. He also stated that he will fully cooperate with the investigation and again lowered his head in remorse.
The police had previously stated that the photo line for Suga was not intentionally created and was done in the same manner as other suspects. However, due to the lack of a separate underground parking lot or internal driveway at Yongsan Police Station, Suga inadvertently stepped on the photo line.
Earlier, Suga was discovered by police riding an electric scooter near his residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the evening of the 6th. The officers on patrol in the area administered a breathalyzer test, which revealed that Suga’s blood alcohol content was 0.227%, significantly exceeding the legal limit for license revocation (over 0.08%).
