BTS RM Becomes First Korean Artist to Achieve Top 5 Spot on Billboard 200 – Read More Here

The current leader of BTS is leaving his mark on the charts!

On June 2, it was officially revealed by Billboard that RM’s second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person”entered the Top 200 Albums chart. Sources report that the album achieved the No. 5 spot.

This accomplishment is noteworthy for various reasons, as the Albums chart tracks the most sought-after albums in the United States. It further demonstrated RM’s influence and the immense excitement surrounding his latest album.

Ever since RM’s debut album “Indigo”peaked at No. 3 on Billboard 200, he has continued to make history with his music. His latest album “Right Place, Wrong Person”also reached the Top 5, making him the first Korean soloist to achieve this feat with two separate albums.

“Indigo”entered the Top 200 at No. 15, making it the solo artist’s highest-charting solo album on the chart, surpassing “Right Place, Wrong Person.”

Moreover, “Right Place, Wrong Person”also contributed to RM’s record-breaking opening week in the United States, as reported by Billboard.

According to Luminate, the album accumulated a total of 54,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on May 30. This consisted of 43,000 in traditional album sales, 7,500 streaming units (equivalent to 10.16 million on-demand audio streams), and 3,500 track equivalent album units.

RM’s “Right Place, Wrong Person”has not only achieved success on Billboard, but also entered the UK’s Official Albums Chart on May 31. This debut has set a new record for RM, as “Right Place, Wrong Person”surpassed “Indigo”(No. 45) by debuting at No. 37 on the chart. This achievement was reported by the entertainment news site Naver.

Besides being featured on his album, the title track “LOST!”also achieved success on the Official Singles Chart, reaching No. 93. It continued to dominate the charts, claiming the top spot on the Official Singles Sales Chart, Singles Downloads Chart, and Physical Singles Chart.

On May 24, RM released the single “Right Place, Wrong Person”along with its accompanying music video. Additionally, separate music videos were also released for the tracks “Come back to me,””Domodachi (feat. Little Simz),””Groin,”and “Nuts,”in addition to “LOST!”
