In the afternoon of June 15th, RM posted a selfie with all BTS members (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) on his personal SNS, along with the caption, “Don’t forget.”
In the picture, Jin is the only member not currently serving in the military, and all the others are seen sporting short hairstyles and smiling brightly for the camera. Their youthful and refreshing appearances are still reminiscent of their pre-enlistment days.
On June 12th, Jin, the oldest member of BTS, was released from military duty. He is the initial member of the group to fulfill his service. RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were present at Jin’s discharge ceremony, with the exception of Suga, who is currently serving as a social service agent.
With Jin being discharged, there has been a significant increase in interest regarding the military service status of the group. Following Jin, the next member to be discharged will be J-Hope, whose discharge date is scheduled for October 17th. RM and V both began their service on December 11th of last year and are expected to complete their service on June 10th, 2025. Similarly, Jimin and Jungkook, who enlisted on December 12th of last year, will also be discharged on June 11th, 2025. Suga, who started his service as a social service agent in September of last year, is set to complete his service on June 21st, 2025.
On June 13th, the “2024 FESTA”was hosted by BTS at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul. “FESTA”is a yearly celebration of BTS’s debut anniversary (June 13th) with their fans. This year’s festivities featured interactive booths, photo opportunities, and a fan event that was graced by the presence of Jin, bringing happiness to countless fans.
