After receiving an update on Suga’s DUI investigation from the police authorities, ARMYs took to social media to share their thoughts on the matter.

According to a report by Korean news outlet TV Chosun on August 26, Yongsan Police announced that Suga’s case had been resolved. The authorities had initially intended to refer the case to prosecutors.

Despite this, the police have announced that the investigation has been completed and that there is no possibility of the idol being summoned again.

The media source also revealed additional information regarding Suga’s license plate, confirming that the scooter did not require a number plate. The issue was discussed with the Ministry of Land for clarification.

On the social media platform X (Twitter), there was a reaction from ARMYs regarding the update.

On August 25, a second apology was issued by Suga. The message from the idol was shared on Weverse, where he sincerely expressed his apologies to fans regarding the controversy.

“I deeply regret my actions,”Suga acknowledged. “I failed to fulfill my responsibility of repaying you with actions that match the love I have received.”

Suga has additionally elaborated on the potential impact of the issue on the entire BTS group.

“Suga expressed his remorse for causing harm to the precious memories shared with the members and fans, as well as putting pressure on BTS’s reputation. He deeply regrets and feels apologetic for the damage it has caused to both the group and its members, making it difficult for him to express his regret.”

The rapper concluded their statement by acknowledging, “I am open to receiving necessary critique and facing any disciplinary repercussions. I want to express my sincerest apologies for causing a commotion and letting down numerous individuals.”

The idol received an outpouring of kind words from fans, with hashtags such as “YOU DID NOT DISAPPOINT US”and “WE TRUST YOU YOONGI”trending.
