During the August 20th episode of “Run! Jin” , Jin made a trip to his former school, Bosung High School. While there, he participated in a variety of amusing challenges with the students, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere.
During his school days, Jin used to dress in a school uniform and transform into an innocent handsome guy. He humorously recalled, “I was considered a nerd and a loser back then. Never did I imagine that I would become a superstar in the future.”As Jin arrived at the school with a charming first-love-like appearance, the younger male students were filled with excitement and cheered him on, exclaiming “You look so handsome!”and “I love you!”Jin quickly won over the students and even had a heartwarming surprise reunion with his former homeroom teacher at the school’s snack bar.
During the following challenges with the students, Jin’s charismatic personality and showmanship were on full display. In an attempt to convince the students to opt out of a physically demanding challenge, he playfully offered to treat them to pizza and jokingly remarked “BTS is thriving”when he was outpaced by an ARMY student in identifying the group’s songs, which caused everyone to burst into laughter. He also brought a lively energy to the group with an arm wrestling competition and effortlessly integrated himself into the group by showcasing the Breakfall techniques he learned during his school days.
The sneak peek shown at the conclusion of Episode 2 exposed Jin as a frazzled “PC Bang part-timer”struggling to keep up with a flood of food orders and children, piquing interest for the upcoming episode. “Run! Jin”is broadcasted every Tuesday at 9 PM on BTS’s YouTube channel and can be viewed on the international fan platform Weverse one hour later.
