In the video, Jin is interviewed for ‘Random Facts’ and is asked about his nickname. He shared, “During my elementary school days, I was known by nicknames such as ‘Kimbap’ and ‘Kimchi’. As I progressed through middle school, high school, and college, I was given the nickname ‘Elementary School Kid’.”
Jin addressed his nickname, “World-Wide Handsome,”stating that it has gained more popularity than he initially anticipated. He explained that it was a nickname he came up with in an awkward moment, but he finds it amusing that many people now refer to him as such.
During a previous interview, Jin, who served as a torchbearer for the Paris 2024 Olympics in July, recalled a French fan who stated, “I waited over a year in the military, so what’s a six-hour wait?”This comment resonated with Jin and stuck with him.
Jin, who considers himself a skilled tennis player, revealed that he had a recent match with an elementary school student and was defeated with a score of 0-20. He admitted feeling embarrassed and questioning his self-proclaimed “pro”status. While he doesn’t have any other particular achievements, he is known among his peers as the top tennis player.
Jin described a dream in which he re-enlisted as “terrible,”although he did acknowledge that he often dreams about the military, but the specifics elude him upon waking.
Jin also shared, “When I am asked, ‘Do you remember this?’ I frequently cannot recall. Therefore, I hope my fans won’t be too let down if I am unable to remember certain things. I am content with living in the present.”He went on to say, “Despite this, I always remember the moments I share with ARMY (fans of BTS).”
Ultimately, when questioned about his reaction to seeing himself on camera, Jin confidently stated, “I believe I am quite handsome. I am content with my appearance. Although there are certainly individuals who may be considered more attractive than myself, I am content with my own looks.”
