BTS’s Suga Gets Death Threat from Fan in South Korea

On October 20, BTS member Suga became the focus of a controversial protest known as “funeral flower wreath” demonstrations, with numerous floral tributes placed outside the HYBE corporate office.

These wreaths, which covered the entrance of the building, called for Suga to resign from the group following a fine he received for DUI charges back in August.

This protest represented an escalation from similar demonstrations aimed at former RIIZE member Seunghan, who left the group amid strong fan backlash, despite SM Entertainment’s earlier promise that he would be reinstated.

Notably, security personnel have been stationed around the wreaths to ensure that they remain undisturbed.

As events unfolded, a fan from Korea claimed responsibility for the flower wreaths and stated they had hired individuals to guard them.

The fan ominously threatened, “Do you think I can’t kill Yoongi?” , indicating deeper concerns about safety.

The individual further went live to declare intentions to harm Suga before abruptly ending the stream and removing all relevant posts.

Given that the fan is located in Korea, many online users are voicing their anxiety regarding Suga’s wellbeing and urging fellow fans to report the situation to HYBE, prompting the company to take necessary precautions to safeguard their artists.
