Bungie makes Destiny 2 expansions free for everyone in lead-up to The Final Shape

The developers of Destiny 2 at Bungie have temporarily made a number of the game’s expansions available to all players in anticipation of The Final Shape.

Bungie has recently made the decision to offer limited-time free access to several major expansions of Destiny 2. Players will have until June 4, when the Final Shape arrives, to take advantage of this opportunity and play through Shadowkeep, The Witch Queen, and Beyond Light, giving them approximately one month to do so.

It should be noted that although these expansions will be accessible to all players, they will not be permanently available and will no longer be accessible once The Final Shape is released. However, any exotics and gear that you obtain during this time will still belong to you, so it is worthwhile to collect them while you can.

PlayStation Plus members will also have the opportunity to access the latest Lightfall expansion, which includes access to Strand and the campaign.

Until June 3, 2024, new Guardians and those who need to catch up on missed content will have the opportunity to play through and enjoy any content they may have previously missed. This includes popular raids such as Vow of the Disciple and Deep Stone Crypt.

Moreover, players can also partake in any of the seasonal content introduced throughout these expansions. This allows Guardians to make up for any important plot points they may have overlooked if they were not active during that period.

It is an ideal moment to dive in and catch up on any of the narratives in Destiny 2, particularly with the game nearing its monumental finale in The Final Shape.
