Although Burn builds may seem simple, they have the potential to cause significant damage when combined with the right mods and weapons in Once Human.

Burn’s initial damage may be slow, but it rapidly gains strength by inflicting 10% of Psi Intensity every 0.5 seconds for a total of six seconds. Additionally, with the ability to stack up to five times, the damage potential of Burn becomes undeniable as it is a Blaze-elemental effect.

This build prioritizes stacking Burn quickly and increasing damage output. We suggest using the KVD for crowd control, taking advantage of its large ammo capacity and explosive passive ability to spread Burn. When facing bosses, the KAM is a strong choice for consistently applying Burn without relying on RNG.

The Boom Boom LMG is an essential weapon, however, you may choose to replace the Crumble sniper rifle with another option that suits your preferences. The Burn status and long-range abilities of Crumble make it a perfect match for the LMG.

To enhance the efficiency of the KAM Crank, install a Rapid Shot Style calibration to increase the firing speed by 15% and decrease the reload time by 40%, resulting in a quicker and more effective Burn application.

The mystical crate in Fort Eyrie, Red Sands region offers both the KVD Boom Boom and KAM Crank as free items.

The Grill Gloves enhance the frequency of Burn DMG by up to 100%, with the extent of the increase depending on the number of Burn stacks. The Heavy Duty 3PC set grants a 10% increase to Max HP and 8% to Elemental DMG. Additionally, after defeating an enemy, the set provides a temporary 20% increase in Movement Speed and 40% in Elemental DMG, which gradually diminishes over a span of 8 seconds. The Scout 2PC set also contributes to a 10% rise in Max HP and an 8% enhancement in Weapon DMG.

For players who have gathered an ample amount of Starchrom, it is highly recommended to upgrade to the Shelterer set from the Wish Machine.

You have the option to choose four pieces from the Shelterer set and pair them with Grill Gloves for increased Burn ticks. Alternatively, you can switch out Grill Gloves for Hardy Gloves, which will cause explosions when you reach maximum Burn stacks.
