Bye, Bye, Earth Anime Release Date and New PV Announcement

On Thursday, May 23, 2024, the official website and X account for the Bye, Bye, Earth anime released a new promotional video, revealing that the series will debut on July 12, 2024. Additionally, the staff announced the addition of new cast members for the anime.

Bye, Bye, Earth anime is an adaptation of Tow Ubukata’s original Japanese light novel series, and was produced by LIDEN FILMS. The novel was serialized by Kadokawa Shoten in 2000 and consisted of two volumes.

In 2007 to 2008, the company released a new edition of the novel series featuring illustrations by Hyung-Tae Kim and comprised of four volumes. In addition to the anime, the series has also been adapted into a manga with illustrations by Ryu Asahi.

Bye, Bye, Earth Anime Debuts on July 12, 2024

As previously mentioned, the official staff of the Bye, Bye, Earth anime released a new promotional video on Thursday, revealing that the series will make its debut on July 12, 2024. Along with this announcement, the broadcast information and the confirmed release date for Summer 2024 have also been revealed.

As stated in the announcement, fans of Bye, Bye, Earth anime can catch the series’ episodes every Friday at 11:30 PM JST on WOWOW service in Japan, beginning July 12, 2024. The first episode will be available to watch for free.

Significantly, the most recent PV opens with Belle Lablanc, the protagonist, experiencing a sense of isolation in a world full of anthropomorphic beings due to her lack of fangs or other defining traits that are considered the norm.

After that, the promotional video shifts its focus to Cyan Loveluck protecting the girl. In addition, the trailer highlights various other significant characters and provides viewers with a glimpse into the distinctive world and individuals of this fantasy anime.

The official team behind the anime has announced additional cast members in addition to the PV. Kenjiro Tsuda will be voicing Lowhide, the embodiment of Justice, while Setsuji Satoh takes on the role of King Lowhide, the villainous counterpart. Joining the voice cast is Miyuki Sawashiro as Doranvi.

Yasuto Nishikata is the director of this one-of-a-kind fantasy anime, produced by LIDEN FILMS Studios. Assisting him is Sota Yokote as the assistant director. The series’ scripts are being written by Hiroyuki Yoshino, known for his work on the Code Geass franchise, and Yuki Hino is the character designer. The music composer credited for the series is Kevin Penkin.

Her birth took place in a world where anthropomorphism was the norm, devoid of any animal-like traits.

Setting out on a fantastical journey, she seeks to discover if there are others like her. Along the way, she encounters various challenges that put her determination and strength to the test.
