The previous installment opened with Belle reminiscing about her emergence from the vibrant rocks known as Stone eggs. She was intrigued by their origin and speculated if they had descended from the heavens. Driven by a desire to fit in, she resolved to discover her place of origin.

While wandering through the Quartz Forest, she stumbled upon a creature known as Rabbitia and kindly offered him a refreshing beverage. Continuing her journey, she arrived at Park City in Schwert Land and decided to take a break at a nearby pub.

Haggis, the pub owner, learned of Belle’s desire to become a nomad and advised her that it would not be possible according to God’s will. Instead, he suggested that she determine whether she was meant to be a Topdog or an Underdog – whether she belonged inside the castle or outside.

At this moment, a pack of individual performers burst into the tavern alongside the Rabbitia Belle had encountered previously. Their intention was to murder him in order to gain notoriety and imbue their swords with invincibility using his blood. However, Belle successfully subdued them, yet she soon discovered that her sword was incapable of inflicting any damage. This led her to believe that her mentor’s mention of a curse may have been the cause.

Afterward, Topdog soloists took her away and confined her in a cell.

As Belle was being escorted out, a man named Adonis arrived at the pub, intrigued by the individual who had defeated the soloists. The Army of Insatiable Emptiness also made their way to the city, drawn by their perception of a person devoid of happiness.

At the same time, Belle used her sword to break open the door of her cell and went to find Gaff. He pardoned her and invited her to stay in his guestroom. He even presented her with a dog tag and explained that she would need to complete a contract with the king before she could become a nomad.

The next day, Gaff led Belle to the throne room of the castle, where they beheld Yggdrasil, the God’s throne. This sword had been growing since the beginning of time and the Priestess-King resided with the God, their body fused with the tree. The Priestess-King had two faces, symbolizing the opposing roles of Topdog and Underdog.

Upon hearing Belle’s plans to become a nomad, the King chose to put her to the test by assigning her to Kir Royale. It was soon discovered that she had a past connection with him, having once shattered his sword.

As revealed in the preview for episode 3 of Bye Bye, Earth, viewers can look forward to witnessing Belle and Kir Royale engage in a duel. It is apparent that Kir Royale harbors resentment, making for an intense showdown. The upcoming episode will be titled Farewell to Those Who Tread the Earth.

In the upcoming episode, there is a possibility that we will delve into Belle’s background, specifically her parents’ identity. Considering she emerged from a rock and is the only one without distinct features, it can be assumed that she was brought up by adoptive parents before joining Sian’s training. Yet, the motive behind her hesitation to reunite with them remains unknown.
