The footage displays Byun Woo-seok making an appearance at the lounge of Incheon International Airport before departing for his scheduled trip abroad.
Nevertheless, there was controversy surrounding the excessive protection as the bodyguard accompanying Byun Woo-seok used flashlights to illuminate ordinary passengers.
Criticism flooded in from netizens, with many questioning the actions of the bodyguard. They questioned whether the actor had rented the lounger for himself, and argued that the bodyguard’s actions were excessive and unnecessary. Some defended the actor and his company staff, stating that they were always kind and accommodating to fans. They suggested that the bodyguard may have been inexperienced and unaware of this. Others pointed out that filming a video in the lounge was against the rules and questioned why the actor would do this to ordinary people. Some even compared the actor’s behavior to that of Tom Cruise, stating that it was too much and dangerous for others around him.
After appearing in tvN’s drama “Lovely Runner”alongside actress Kim Hye-yoon, Byun Woo-seok became a rising star.
The actor received praise for portraying Ryu Seon-jae, a renowned singer who had lost his will to live but was ultimately rescued by Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) when she traveled back to 2008 to aid her beloved star before his tragic demise.
Despite the controversy caused by the bodyguard, Byun Woo-seok is also facing criticism.
