Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Developers Address Double XP Requests with Mysterious Response

The developers of Black Ops 6 have acknowledged the fans’ requests for a double XP weekend, as they aim to rekindle classic elements of the game.

The launch of Black Ops 6 has garnered favorable reviews from the Call of Duty community, particularly praising its gameplay mechanics and single-player narrative. Many players are already captivated by the innovative ominimovement system.

While gamers have expressed their appreciation for the nostalgic return of the prestige system and certain multiplayer features, the main area of concern has revolved around the game’s maps. Players have been vocal about wanting to preserve the traditional Call of Duty experience.

Furthermore, there is a significant demand for an early double XP weekend. Although the game has only been available for a week, with some players already achieving 10th prestige, many others are eager for assistance to enhance their progression.

Treyarch has now addressed these requests but in a somewhat vague manner. The developers responded to a player’s inquiry about a double XP and double weapon XP weekend by posting a thinking face emoji on Twitter.

Fans of Black Ops 6 are particularly enthusiastic about the possibility of a double XP weekend aligning with the release of Nuketown.

“Double XP and Nuketown? Let’s make it happen!” exclaimed one fan in a tweet. Another user pointed out that, “This weekend would be perfect since they’re releasing Nuketown.”

Additionally, some players are hoping for a dedicated Nuketown 24/7 playlist to expedite their leveling process, a trend that has typically accompanied the release of Nuketown in Treyarch titles. Only time will tell if these expectations are fulfilled.
