Treyarch has recently issued an apology to fans of Black Ops 6 Zombies following backlash regarding a previous update. In response, the development team has restored several of the unpopular changes and introduced additional adjustments aimed at enhancing the gaming experience.
The introduction of the highly anticipated Squid Game crossover, specifically the limited-time game mode titled Dead Light, Green Light, faced severe criticism from the community. Players found the mode unsatisfactory due to a forced exfiltration at round 10 and the absence of Easter Eggs, leading many to question the value of engaging with the game mode.
Listening to player feedback, Treyarch has taken steps to address these concerns by extending the round cap from 10 to 20, with plans for a further increase in the upcoming week. However, they also introduced a controversial change that prolonged the delay between rounds, complicating the completion of weapon camo challenges. This change, too, has been reverted in response to player complaints.
Additionally, a segment of the community accused the developers of misrepresenting the January 3 update after a patch supposedly aimed at fixing a glitch in the game failed to resolve the issue where “Vermin” could kill players with a single shot. Acknowledging their oversight, Treyarch has stated that a permanent fix for this glitch will not be possible until the arrival of Season 2 on January 28.
