After patiently waiting for a year, players of Modern Warfare 3 finally received the highly anticipated skin. However, it has raised some concerns among them for the upcoming Black Ops 6.
Call of Duty has been participating in the cosmetics and microtransactions aspect for some time now. However, its involvement has significantly increased in recent years due to the success of Warzone, as it competes with other popular battle royale games.
Despite the abundance of new cosmetics, some fans have expressed frustration with the emphasis on skins and weapon bundles over addressing gameplay issues. However, there have also been numerous cosmetics that have generated excitement among players.
Despite the passage of a year, they have continued to anticipate the discovery of several clean-looking versions of the initial members of TF141.
Finally, after much anticipation, the calls for a new Soap skin have been answered in Season 5 Reloaded. The highly-desired mohawk look has been introduced, but to the disappointment of some players, it is only available in a cell-shaded variant called the Toon Force 141. This has caused concern among players about what this could mean for future skins.
“Some players expressed frustration with the use of cel-shaded graphics. One player stated, “I hope they do not use cel-shaded graphics in Black Ops 6 because A) it strains my eyes and I dislike that and B) if I wanted a cel-shaded game, I would play Borderlands.”Another player chimed in by saying, “I agree, I hope they take the community’s feedback into consideration for the next game.”

Another player commented that those who believe Black Ops 6 will not feature silly skins will be let down. They acknowledged that the skins may be an improvement from the current ones, but still not as authentic as some fans desire.
“One person expressed their hope for the game to be more comical, but emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality visuals. They believed that if players are investing money, the developers should deliver top-notch skins with a rating of 10/10.”
By pre-ordering the Vault edition of Black Ops 6, players have already been able to utilize less realistic skins in the beta. It is uncertain if there will be any Niki Minaj crossovers once again. Nonetheless, if skins are not transferable from the Modern Warfare series, there are some significant plans in place.
