Call of Duty Fans Upset That New Haunting Skins Won’t Transfer to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer

Players of Modern Warfare 3 are expressing their frustration that the newly introduced Haunting skins will not be transferable to Black Ops 6 multiplayer, seeing it as a missed opportunity for the Call of Duty franchise.

Fans were thrilled when Warzone first launched a Halloween live event during the Verdansk era. The night-time map variant was extremely popular, along with the new skins and Haunting experiences.

However, over the years, many fans feel the quality has declined. The night-time maps no longer evoke that original Verdansk vibe, and the Haunting experiences have become more bothersome than enjoyable.

It has been confirmed that The Haunting will return in Modern Warfare 3, featuring a range of spooky skins. Yet with Black Ops 6 approaching, players are disappointed about the skins not being transfered to Multiplayer mode.

“WHY would they give us such a dope skin when it won’t even carry over into the next multiplayer in 6 weeks?” Reddit user PuddingZealousideal6 voiced. “I wish they would just do the Carry Forward again for operators.”

Other frustrated players quickly joined in. “Same thing came to my mind. Like why not just add him to Bo6? Bo6 literally comes out before Halloween,” said one. “They are developing for Warzone. Everything else is an afterthought,” commented another.

“Collab skins should be the exception to the ‘no carry over’ rule. At least the more recent ones,” another player suggested.

Some noted that these skins will indeed carry over in Warzone. “Being able to use it in Warzone is probably the only reason I’m contemplating this battle pass,” one player shared.

Additionally, there were suggestions for the return of classic modes like Michael Myers and Scream during The Haunting event, even though the Halloween season is already packed with content, including the release of Black Ops 6.
